Advisor Registrar Training

This training is intended primarily for incoming staff to familiarize them with the Banner Student System, myPurdue portal, and Registration workflow as it relates to their role as academic advisors. Contact Kearstynn G. or Carly B. at registrar@purdue.edu to arrange individual or group training.

Advisor Curricula Change Request Training

Training for advisors to learn how to use the online Curricula Change Request (CCR) tool. Contact currichg@purdue.edu to arrange individual or group training.

myPurduePlan Training

MyPurduePlan training is intended for new and experienced undergraduate advisors and staff who are assisting advisors with undergraduate degree clearance. Training will focus on the functionality of the worksheet and the application of exceptions for degree clearance.

Exceptions tab access will be granted after the training is completed.

It is strongly recommended that new advisors attend myPurduePlan training after they have had a reasonable opportunity to adjust to Purdue life.  This training will be more meaningful if advisors are familiar with the plans of study for which they will be advising and University regulations as well as tools such as Banner, the CCR, the 10 year exception authorization, etc.
