Satyajit Ambike, associate professor of health and kinesiology at Purdue University, has been elected to the board of the International Society of Motor Control. His board term began in September. Ambike studies human locomotion and prehension across the adult age span. He is interested in how aging influences stability of movements and how stability and maneuverability — two antagonistic movement attributes — are traded off in activities of daily living.
