A student who wishes to withdraw from Purdue during any semester or summer session must do so through the withdrawal procedures laid out by the Office of the Dean of Students.

Students who withdraw from Purdue University during the fall and spring semesters will receive a prorated assessment of tuition and fees.

Military Tuition Assistance (TA) is awarded to a student under the assumption that the student will attend school for the entire period for which the assistance is awarded. When a student withdraws, the student may no longer be eligible for the full amount of tuition assistance funds originally awarded.

Students receiving financial aid who withdraw, drop, or do not attend courses may be required to return a portion of the financial aid received.
