Celebrating 20 Years of Cybersecurity Awareness! (October Cybermonth)

October 2023 marks the 20th anniversary of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, established in 2003 through a collaboration between the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the National Cyber Security Alliance.

To raise cybersecurity awareness across the Purdue University community, the Purdue Systems Security (PSS) team, in partnership with the Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security (CERIAS), Cisco, and KnowBe4, has scheduled a series of enlightening talks and discussions.

“Cybersecurity Awareness is critical to enhance our collective knowledge of current and ongoing cyber threats. The more we know, the safer we become,” said Senior Cybersecurity Awareness Specialist Nolyn Johnson.
