35,000+ Boilermakers have taken the CliftonStrengths for Students Talent Assessment!
A key objective of the Roger C. Stewart Leadership Experience at Purdue (LEAP) is to encourage first-year, undergraduate students to be intentional about their leadership and professional development during their time at Purdue. Purdue has partnered with Gallup to become a strengths-based campus to meet this objective. All incoming first-year and transfer students have free access to the CliftonStrengths for Students® online talent assessment and Strengths resources via the myStrengths online portal. Students are introduced to the concept in their pre-arrival information and during orientation programs.
The CliftonStrengths for Students® talent assessment, based on the concept of intentionally developing your strengths rather than your weaknesses, identifies students’ Top 5 Signature Themes from a list of 34 talents. CliftonStrengths is used across the world in large and small businesses and non-profit organizations. The myStrengths portal provides resources for exploring your Top 5 Themes and how to leverage your strengths to overcome challenges and reach your own personal, academic, and career goals. For more information visit, the CliftonStrengths for Students-StrengthsQuest website.
