Rates and Information

To request a performance engagement of the Black Cultural Center’s Performing Arts Ensembles, please provide the information listed below in a written request. Submit your request at least one semester (4-6) months in advance of the anticipated event/program.

• Ensemble(s) for booking
• Name and position/job title of person submitting the request
• Phone number
• Mailing address
• Email address
• Name of sponsoring group, organization or department
• Title of event/program
• Day, date, time and location of event/program
• Describe event/program (history, purpose, intended or target audience, etc.)
• Describe type of presentation you are seeking (duration, genre, style, etc.)

Note: The above rates are the minimum suggested amounts. Additional donations are welcome. Rates for off campus performances requiring transportation, lodging and subsistence will vary depending on the distance traveled and the accommodations required. Sound, lights and space rental fees are not included. Average length of performance is one hour.
