Tours, Reservations, and Requests
Purdue AAARCC offers a multitude of programming, events, and services. All students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members are invited and encouraged to visit and utilize our facilities at the AAARCC. Visitors can request individual or group tours. You can also request a building reservation for student organization events, class meetings, or training purposes. Large Group Tour and Class Visit Requests
Thank you for your interest in touring the Asian American and Asian Resource and Cultural Center facility. Our center is open to people of all identities and interests. We would love the opportunity to inform students, staff, faculty, and community members about what the AAARCC has to offer the Purdue campus and the Greater Lafayette community. To make your visit the most productive for all parties involved, we require at least 2 business days advance notice for scheduling all informational meetings or tours. This includes all students who seek to tour the center in order to fulfill academic or co-curricular assignments and obligations. We cannot guarantee staff availability without prior notification. Interview for Class Purposes/Tour for Small Groups (5 or fewer)
This request is ideal for interviewing a staff member at the AAARCC or receiving a tour for personal interest or to fulfill a course requirement. These tours typically last no longer than 20 minutes, and drop in visits of this size can usually be accomodated. If your group is larger than 5 people, please fill out the large group request form located above.
Building Use Requests
If your student organization is looking for a location to host an event, the AAARCC may be the perfect venue! Please fill out the form linked below to submit your request. If your event is approved, a representative from your organization's executive board will need to come into the AAARCC to fill out the official Building Use Agreement. Please note that the below form must be submitted a minimum of seven (7) days before your event is projected to take place to allow AAARCC staff adequate time to approve requests.
Collaboration and Programming Requests
Diversity, equity, and inclusion work, including weaving the Asian American and Asian experiences into Purdue's campus, requires continuous collaboration among Purdue units and our larger communities. Class Presentation Requests
The AAARCC provides class presentations on topics related to the diversity of Asian and Asian American communities. AAARCC can also provide presentations related to individual expertise of our staff members and other topics by request of instructors, departments, staff, students, and community organizations. If you would like to host a session, please submit your request at least one week prior to your preferred date. Please note that your request has not been confirmed until you receive email confirmation from an AAARCC staff member. There is no cost associated with the AAARCC educational presentation in your session.
